You know what... I went to write a review of this then realised I had nothing to review as I don't have the mix bar an amazing concept so my best is to tell you how lovely this all feels (which it does) and pass you over to the press release. So here you go. On to the press release...

5enses, centered around evoking the five senses. The second cassette in the series is available on February 17th, with a cinematic mix from Hamburg resident Phuong-Dan, following the first tape from Danielle. The first 5 cassettes are a part of a ‘chapter’, defined by the phrase, In Privacy We Cope. The phrase explores themes of solitude, self reflection, mental health and identity. Each DJ has translated this phrase into their own personal expression in an hour long mix. Phuong-Dan , For over a decade now he is both resident and host at legendary St. Pauli underground venue Golden Pudel Club. A fearless selector whose ability to lead intense expeditions into the outer realms of the sonic sphere have made his sets – and his long-running Gatto Musculoso club night – something any dancefloor is lucky to experience. The tape is a narrative formed around nostalgia, the mix is more of a film score soundtracking a shared lockdown experience.

Profits go to Black Minds Matter, whose mission is to connect Black individuals and families with free mental health services.
