Alex Barck is one of the founders of Sonar Kollektiv, a gentleman, sea watcher, Jazzanova’s DJ, one half of Prommer & Barck and one of the people behind Derwin Records. This mix is pretty much inspired by Alex's stay on Reunion Island and being surrounded by the Indian Ocean. Everyday on the beach watching the surfers play with the waves and escaping from the sharks. It's also pretty much based on the misunderstanding of what balearic music can be. As he says, "I'm somehow obsessed with music that brings those pictures to my mind."
