Fairplay is a nice illustration of my comments about musics “heavily influenced by nearly four decades of House music, Krautrock freak-outs / love-ins, and cult horror film soundtracks”. All of those reference points can be heard here, in a mix which includes plenty of exclusives from the “Bird Scarer” studio and friends, and begins as a gentle analogue float, adrift on Larry Heard-isms, only to turn, midway through, into something, in Tim`s own words, quite "klarting”.
