When the first Mondo release arrived last year we were like ‘ah breath of fresh air’. It was everything in one record that we wanted. Super balearic with a slow dance floor beat on the other side. Three tracks of quality music that paid tribute to the composers and session musicians who provided themes and incidental music for `60s cinema and TV.

The second in the series going by the name of Rotla appeared and it was just as good. At that point we asked Gerd Running Back (who releases the Mondo records) to put us in touch to get a mix. Francesco Mondo got in touch and sent, as he says, ‘a kind of show, an "audio documentary" mondo movie style’. It’s fun. Enjoy it.
